The Church Has Left The Building!

Our September 2007 Faith In Action Campaign was a huge success. We had over 80% of the Village Church family involved in our Faith In Action emphasis.

During September, we focused on biblical compassion, service and Christ’s heart for those in need through special small groups, daily devotionals, and worship services. Then, we experienced a landmark day in our church’s history, when on September 30th we cancelled all worship services and instead worshipped through service in the community.

We servied through three separate projects, all designed to directly touch lives and reflect Christ’s love to others in our community:

  1. Holly Springs Elementary School Project (Trash Clean-up & Courtyard Gardening)
  2. Holly Springs Fire & Police Department Project (Food Basket Delivery & Vehicle Washing)
  3. Holly Springs Elderly Assistance Project (Exterior/Interior Home Repairs)

Most of the church family were involved in a Faith In Action small group and studied through a 28-daily FaithStep devotional.

Don’t just go to church-BE the church!
