This project involves volunteering to assist in a Holly Springs’ fundraiser for Jack Murray, born with Primary Immune Deficiency. The carnival is from 12:00-7:00 PM and will be held at the new Super Walmart in Holly Springs. 4/9/08 Update: In case of bad weather, the alternative site will be the Hunt Community Center and Gym at 301 Stinson Ave. in Holly Springs! Please encourage family and friends to attend - the entrance fee is only $3.00!

In October 2006, Holly Spring’s resident, Jack Murray was diagnosed with Common Variable Immune Deficiency. As a result, he has contracted an untreatable brain infection. Now three years old, he receives weekly treatments to slow the degenerative process. This fundraiser is to help offset some of the mounting medical costs that his parents are facing.

As part of The Village Church at Holly Springs’ Faith in Action Day, you are encouraged to put your faith into action and volunteer for this worthwhile cause. Volunteers are needed to transport tables and tents for set-up and clean-up, face painting, spotters on the inflatables, silent auction monitors, and other easy tasks. 4/9/08 Update on volunteers: Most volunteer spots are full however, we still need men with trucks to help transport tables and tents and help set up in the morning and tear down in the evening! It is important that we fill these remaining openings !!! No special talents or skills required, just a heart for Christ and a love for the community we serve.

Visit JacksDay.com to learn more about this fundraiser.
